Grade Management Made Better

Camu’s end-to-end grading portal has a wide range of smart features that help track student progress and enhance student-teacher relationships.

The keynote of this product enhancement is the fact that grade administration can be done from one screen itself.

Faculty have complete autonomy over student evaluation, and it is up to each member to decipher how to conduct internals, end-semester examinations, and assessments.

For instance, they may add as many assessments as they require using the “Add Assessment” option.

They may even develop different types of assessment models for the assessment framework, by defining the maximum marks, scale, date, and time.

What’s more, assessors can create a new scale or choose from a list of current ones.

The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) Configuration enables instructors to select the type of grading they wish to undertake – Best of it, Average of Best, Sum of Best or Average of Overall Best.

The results are published instantly and independently, without the involvement of the Controller of Examination (CoE). Instructors no longer have to spend time involved in paperwork or grade calculations and reports.

Reports available for view and download include the full report, student report, histogram, and CCE report. And students can access their respective grades from their own portal by going to the ‘Results’ tab of the Exam Schedules window.

The staff archive dashboard by Camu acts as a one-stop-shop for all faculty related information.

Staff members are typically involved in a variety of programmes, processes, and projects. In such circumstances, having a dedicated forum to safeguard all academic activity is imperative.

Staff members can enter and save information on their professional development programmes, research projects, paper presentations and participation, awards and recognition, professional body membership information, and much more.

Reports are generated for single or multiple members based upon the faculty or institutional requirement.

For example, these staff archive reports come in handy when an institution wishes to get accredited and therefore needs to determine the Academic Performance Index – the ultimate grade for an institution!

They are awarded points for national and international publications, books published, research activity, membership in technical bodies, and other important factors.

This API score shows the institution’s progress toward accreditation.

Added Support with On-Screen Help

The grade management system comes with an on-screen help feature that describes the application and procedure for key functionality.

The information offered assists users in understanding the requirements for a specific function through self-study. This reduces reliance and guides the user through the setup process.

The help feature is symbolised by the”?” icon and can be found on any screen.

The information feature or “I’ button on the screen displays details about a module selected.
