Empower your Students to pursue Multiple Degree Programs with Ease
Camu SIS Aligned with NEP 2020
We are delighted to announce that Camu, the global EdTech solution provider, is now aligned with the NEP 2020 mandate that allows students to pursue two academic programs simultaneously.
What This Feature is About
As per the UGC Notification issued in this regard:
- A student can pursue two full-time academic programs in the physical mode, provided the class timings for one program do not overlap with those of the other.
- Alternatively, a student can enroll in a degree program in the physical mode and simultaneously pursue another degree or diploma through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) or online mode, or both degrees through the ODL/online mode.
What’s New in Camu?
Camu’s Student Information System (SIS) has been enhanced to maintain a single record for students pursuing Multiple degrees within the same institution. Students will be assigned a single Student ID/Registration Number/Roll Number that will act as a unique identifier, linking all academic and teaching-learning activities for both programs throughout the student life cycle.
Benefits for the Students
With this feature, students will be able to:
- Enroll in courses offered by both programs without conflicts using a single screen and login.
- View results and grades for both programs on one screen in MyCamu.
- View outstanding bills for both programs on the same screen.
- View scheduling and attendance for all courses in both programs simultaneously.
- Access all information for both programs through a single MyCamu login ID.
Benefits for the Administration Office
- Maintain a single student record while mapping two programs.
- View all the Student Information System records of the student through a single identifier.
